CM to meet Governor on proving majority

Bangalore, Oct 7 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today said he would meet Governor Rameshwar Thakur in the day or tomorrow and request him for an opportunity to seek vote of confidence on the floor of the Assembly.

Speaking to mediapersons after the JD(S) Legislature Party meeting here, he said the deliberation had discussed in detail about the latest political developments and authorised him to meet the Governor.

Mr Kumaraswamy claimed that a 'lobby' within the BJP had prevented him from handing over the Chief Minister's post to party designate B S Yediyurappa.

He also alleged a conspiracy within the BJP had prevented him from transferring the power.

''Till now the outcome of the meetings of JD(S) President H D Deve Gowda with party emissary Yashwant Sinha and BJP national President Rajnath Singh has not been revealed to anybody. Why did this happen,?'' he asked.
