'Caste based politics harmful for peace'
Bareilly, Oct 7 (UNI) Expressing concern over the growing 'caste based politics' in Uttar Pradesh, AICC secretary and MP Jitin Prasad today warned that it would lead to anarchy in the coming days.
''Politics of caste and religion is a threat to the country's peace,'' the MP noted, while addressing newspersons here.
The poor should be treated equally without any caste discrimination, Mr Prasad added.

the
Mayawati
led-BSP
government
in
UP
for
annulling
recruitment
of
around
18,000
constables
and
police
radio
operators
so
far,
he
said
'issues
like
employment
are
also
becoming
the
target
of
politics,
which
only
sends
a
wrong
message
in
the
community.'
Mr
Prasad
further
said
''important
responsibilties
had
been
imposed
on
Congress
MP
Rahul
Gandhi
by
making
him
the
party
general
secretary.
He
had
been
given
the
charge
of
party's
youth
wing,
which
would
associate
the
party
with
youth.''
On
being
asked
about
the
student
union
poll,
he
obsevred
''it
was
essential
for
developing
political
skills
among
the
youth.''
