9 Maoist sympathisers held, arms seized

Viziangaram, Oct 7 (UNI) Police arrested nine sympathisers of CPI (Maoists) and seized landmines, a pistol, a grenade and four rifles at Dekari forests in Paravathipuram village today.

Special Duty Officer M Ravindranath Babu told reporters here that the arrested were identified as A Raja Rao, A Govind, Chinniah, Suresh, Mangu, Babiah, Balayya, B Sarang and M Basaneo.

The arrested would be produced before court tomorrow, he added.

UNI
