3 killed, 13 hurt as bus rams into lorry

Kancheepuram, Oct 7 (UNI) Three persons were killed and 13, including two women, injured when a state transport corporation bus rammed into a stationary lorry near Sriperumbudur here last night.

Police said both driver and the cleaner, who were repairing the lorry, which was parked on the highway, died on the spot while Bus Driver Murugesan (57) succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

All the injured were admitted to the Chenglepet Government Hospital for treatment, police added.
