Man commits suicide after being thrashed by in-laws

Sonepat , Oct 6 (UNI) A youth of village Pai committed sucide by consuming celphos after being allegedly beaten by his father-in-law at his in-laws' house.

According to police deceased Daya Nand's father had claimed that his son, who was married Kavita of Nuna Majra in Jhajjar district on December 10, last year, had gone to bring his wife back from his in-laws house on Thursday.

However, he was insulted and severely beaten by his father-in-law, the father alleged.

After returning from in-law's house, Daya Nand reportedly consumed celphos. He was rushed to PGIMS Rohtak where he died late last evening, he said.
