15
suspects,
including
five
Bangladeshi
nationals
overstaying
in
the
city,
following
intelligence
alert
that
'human
bombs'
had
sneaked
into
the
city
to
engage
in
subversive
activities
during
the
Ramzan
season.
Police sources said the Intelligence Bureau had alerted the Andhra Pradesh police about the possibility of terror strikes by suspected suicide bombers of Harkat-ul-Jihadi Islami (HuJI).
Ultras might target religious places to trigger communal disturbances in the sensitive Old City, sources added.
Police sounded high alert and launched intensive frisking and vehicle checks at railway stations, bus bays and other public places.
