Electoral roll revision in Nagaland from Nov 1

Kohima, Oct 6: The Election Commission, on recommendations of the Nagaland Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), has ordered for Summary Revision of the State's electoral rolls by January 1.

CEO C J Ponraj, in a notification here yesterday, stated that the stipulated publication of draft rolls would commence on November one.

The filing and disposal of claims and objections, preparation and printing of deletions, additions and corrections, despatch of reprinted mother rolls along with supplements to each election returning officer and final publication of electoral rolls would be completed by January four, he added.
