Electoral roll revision in Nagaland from November one

Kohima, Oct 6 (UNI) The Election Commission, on recommendations of the Nagaland Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), has ordered for Summary Revision of the state's Electoral Rolls by January one.

CEO C J Ponraj, in a notification here yesterday, stated that the stipulated publication of draft rolls would commence on November one.

The filing and disposal of claims and objections, preparation and printing of deletions, additions and corrections, despatch of reprint mother rolls along with supplements to each Election Returning Officers and final publication of Electoral Rolls would be completed by January four, he added.
