Constable suspended for extortion

Guna, MP, Oct 6 (UNI) A police constable was suspended and a home guard Sainik dismissed from service for extortion from vehicle owners on the bypass road here, police said today.

The action against Constable Bhanu Pratap Gurjar and Sainik Shivraj Lodha followed inquiry into complaints against them, Superintendent of Police Yogesh Choudhary said.

The suspended constable had been attached with Guna police line.
