Basava Dala activists burnt effigy of Deve Gowda

Bangalore, Oct 6 (UNI) Activists of Rashtriya Basava Dala today burnt effigy of former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) National President H D Deve Gowda for not honouring the promise of handing over power to coalition partner Bharatiya Janata Party in Karnataka.

They also took out a protest march from Gandhi statute and burnt the effigy of Mr Gowda near Basaveshwara statute.
