Heavy rains: All flights from Vizag cancelled

Visakhapatnam, Oct 6: All flights from Visakhapatnam airport were cancelled due to heavy rains, airport officials said today.

Officials said the runways were inundated due to overnight rains and efforts were on to clear the water.

The airline s, which cancelled the services, were Air Sahara, Air Deccan, Kingfisher, Paramount and Indian.

The services would remain cancelled tomorrow, if the rain continued, the officials added.
