Youth arrested under UK Terrorism Act
LONDON, Oct 5 (Reuters) A 17-year-old youth has been charged with two offences under the Terrorism Act, police said.
He was arrested in the Dewsbury area in northern England on Monday and was charged in relation to the possession of material for terrorist purposes and the collection or possession of information useful in the preparation of an act of terrorism, officers said.
The youngster, who has not been named, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' today.
