Woman drugged, raped by employment agency owner

New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) A 50-year-old owner of an employment agency was arrested in the Karol Bagh area of Central Delhi after a woman alleged that she had been drugged and raped by him.

Rohini resident Manmohan Singh was arrested late last night after the woman (35), who was found lying unconscious by her brother at his Karol Bagh office, gave her statement last night, said the police today.

''The incident took place on October 3 when the woman turned up for an interview after reading a newspaper advertisement.'' In her complaint, she said she was offered drug laced tea after which she became unconscious, and was raped in that condition.

All through yesterday she was not in a condition to make a statement as she was recovering from her drowsy state, the police added.
