Teenaged dancer still untraced

Barrackpore, Oct 5: A teenaged girl, who went missing on October 2 from a neighour's house at Nagerbazar Kajipara under Dum Dum police station in North 24 Parganas, remains untraced.

A complaint had been lodged by the father of the girl, a dancer-cum-singer, in connection with the alleged kidnapping and police has detained the couple from whose house the girl had disappeared.

The incident reportedly occurred following her performance at the house of the neighbour. On many occasions, the missing dancer had performed at ISCON temples in Mayapur, Kolkata, and even in Bangladesh.
