SEBI suspends registration of sub-broker

Mumbai, Oct 5 (UNI) Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended the certificate of registration of Freedom Investors, a sub-broker of the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange (NSE) for a period of a week, effective from October 8.

The sub-broker will not be entitled to carry on the business as a sub-broker with effect from October 8 to October 14, 2007, the SEBI said.
