No combine harvester operations at night in Punjab

Moga, Oct 5 (UNI) With the paddy harvesting season in full swing, the district magistrate today directed the farmers not to harvest paddy during night hours with combine harvesters.

Directions in this context had also been issued to the owners and drivers of combine harvesters, an official release here stated.

The District Magistrate has also banned the burning of paddy straw and waste in the fields to check pollution.
