Nine feared drowned in coracle mishap in Cauvery river

Mysore, Oct 5 (UNI) Nine villagers were feared drowned when a overloaded coracle, in which they were crossing river Cauvery near Sagarakatte in this district, capsized this afternoon.

Police said the incident occurred when the people of Ramanahalli village were returning after attending a festival at Sagarakatte.
