Mcleod Russel raises stake in Moran Tea to 86.7 pc

New Delhi, Oct 5: Mcleod Russel India Ltd today said it has acquired 1.52 million shares of The Moran Tea Co (India) Ltd, bringing its stake to 86.69 per cent of the paid-up captial.

Earlier, Mcleod had bought 300,493 shares in Moran through an open offer, it said in a statement.

Mcleod Russel now holds 18,20,493 equity shares of Moran Tea of Rs ten each.
