Lt Col, Major among 3 soldiers wounded in poonch mine blast

Jammu, Oct 5 (UNI) Two Army officers and a non-commissioned officer (NCO) were wounded in mine blasts in the Mendhar area of Poonch district today.

The Army officers, identified as Lt Col S F Danu and Major R K Chouhan of 4 Dogra Regiment, received serious splinter injuries when they stepped on the mine at Helmat post in Mendhar, official sources told UNI.

Meanwhile, havaldar Yash Yadav also got wounded in a similar mine blast in the same area, the sources said.
