Krishna meets Philippines President Gloria Arroyo

Mumbai, Oct 5 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna received visiting Philippines President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo at Raj Bhavan and hosted high tea in her honour.

Matters of mutual interest between India and the Philippines were discussed at the meeting here yesterday. Ms Arroyo evinced keen interest in the supply of affordable medicines and life-saving drugs from India to her country.

Ms Arroyo, who is on a two-day state visit to Mumbai, was accompanied by a high level official delegation.
