Ujjain, MP, Oct 5 (UNI) Police has recovered a stolen gold chain -- offered at Mahakaleshwar temple here by an accused -- from the donation box of the temple.
Five journalists had looted Rs 50,000, a gold chain and mobile from Rajashthan's Jhalawad district-based farmer G S Pawar with the help of call girl Mona Khan by pretending to be crime branch officers on the September 2.
''On the basis of interrogation of main accused Abhay Tirwar, police recovered the gold chain from the donation box at the temple,'' said District Superintendent of Police Jaideep Pradeep.
Later, a gun, a computer and CD consisting ojectionable photographs of the call girl with the farmer were seized from Mr Tirwar's house.
Two television channel journalists Anil Tiwari and Sachin Goyal, an evening daily's journalist Munna Bhai Kushwah and Mona had been arrested and were sent to judicial custody.
