Army officer critically injured in mine blast

Jammu, Oct 5 (UNI) A Lieutenant Colonel was critically injured in a mine blast in Krishna Ghati Brigade of Poonch District this morning, sources said.

Lt Col S S Dhanu of 4 Dogra Regiment was seriously injured in a mine blast when the army was on patrol in the area of Krishna Ghati, the sources told UNI.

''He received serious injuries in his leg in the blast and was immediately taken to the army hospital,'' sources added.
