Pak EC clears 5 candidates for prez election

Islamabad, Oct 02, 2007 : Five candidates including General Pervez Musharraf are finally in the run for the office of the President of Pakistan in the presidential election on Saturday.

A spokesman for the Election Commission, Kunwar Mohammad Dilshad, read out the final list of validly nominated candidates, published by the Election Commission on Monday, to the media.
