Venkaiah Naidu expressed confidence on forming Govt
Bangalore, Oct 3(UNI) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Venkaiah Naidu today expressed confidence that the transfer of power would take place in Karnataka, asserting that there were no serious issues between coalition partners BJP and JD(S) on the issue.
Speaking to newsmen after meeting Senior JD(S) leader and Home Minister M P Prakash here today Mr Naidu expressed hope that Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy would hand over power to BJP's B S Yediyurappa as per the pact reached between two parties 20 months ago. He asserted that there was no dispute over the candidature of Mr Yediyurappa for Chief Ministership from the BJP side.
Mr Prakash had discussed with the BJP leader the political situation araised after the en mass resignation of BJP ministers in Karnataka yesterday seeking Mr Kumaraswamy effect the power change today.
