Strange lake found in Nepal

Kathmandu, Oct 3 (UNI) A lake, which is cleaned by birds, was discovered near Dhaulagiri base camp in western Nepal.

The lake named 'Barahakund' is 250 kilometre west of Kathmandu and has no dirt or leaves as the birds clean up the lake.

The blue colored deep round lake was found in Mudi village of Myagdi district in western Nepal, and can be reached from Beni Bazaar after four days trek.

"If any leaves fall into the lake, birds pick it up and take it away instantly", local media quoted locals as saying.

He said the local herdsmen have been worshiping it in the name of the deity of Baraha.
