Silver, gold decline on bearish global advice

Mumbai, Oct 3 (UNI) Spot silver and gold today closed softer with silver modestly easing by Rs 50 per kg and gold by Rs 50 per ten gm from their last close on increased offers from stockists and bearish global and upcountry advises, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 18,090 (18,140) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,440 (9,490) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 9,490 (9,540).
