Rs 5 cr 'Ashtadhatu' idol seized, one held

Lucknow, Oct 3 (UNI) Police today arrested a person and seized an idol of Lord Mahavir worth Rs five crore from Manaknagar area of the Uttar Pradesh capital.

Om Prakash was nabbed from Langdafatak possessing the 'ashtadhatu' idol, which was 5 kg in weight.

The recovered idol worth Rs 4 crore 80 lakh in the market, police said.
