Revolt brewing in JD(S) against Gowda: Sindhia
Bangalore, Oct 3 (UNI) Former JD(S) Strongman and Dissident Leader P G R Sindhia today claimed serious differences had cropped up in the party ranks over the issue of transfer of power to the BJP.
''This issue will erupt into a revolt with many legislators coming out in the open against Party Chief and Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda within days,'' he claimed.
Speaking to the UNI here, Mr Sindhia, a Former Home Minister in the Deve Gowda Cabinet, claimed due to 'strategic reasons' and 'fear,' many MLAs chose to remain silent.
'However, they were waiting for an opportunity to revolt against the party leadership.' Appealing to the JD(S) MLAs who were 'unhappy' with the leadership to come out of the party, he said ''time has come to teach a lesson and end the selfish regime in the state.'' Mr Sindhia, who still remains a JD(S) legislator, has been suspended from the party for anti-party activities.
