Rcom launches colour handset at Rs 999

Mumbai, Oct 3 (UNI) Intensifying the price war in the handset segment, Reliance Communications today launched colour handset ''Classic Colour 732'' at the entry level at Rs 999.

The new offering from the country's second largerst private telecom operator is targetted towards the entry level users in the colour handset segment.

The colour handset is available across all pre and post paid plans. The handest has a phonebook of 500 numbers and speakerphone and other usual features which are found in the entry level colour phones.

After launching the new handset, company personal business president S P Shukla said, ''The special price of Rs 999 also comes at a time as we celebrate the joy of reaching 10 mn classic handset sales.'' RCom had earlier launched Classic monochrome handsets at a price of Rs 777 which has already sold 10 million units since its launch earlier this year.
