Meghalaya police arrest two ultras

Shillong, Oct 3: The Meghalaya police arrested two ultras of the newly-formed Synroplang National Liberation Council(SNLC) and seized a huge amount of extortion money from their possession.

Police said that the arrested ultras, identified as Marvellous Lyngdoh and Teibok Thabah, were arrested from Lawbyrtun near Kynshi village in West Khasi Hills yesterday.

Police have registered a case against the duo and investigation was on.
