Iran summons French envoy over Kouchner comments-agency

TEHRAN, Oct 3 (Reuters) Iran's Foreign Ministry summoned France's charge d'affaires to Tehran today to protest at recent comments by French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, an Iranian news agency said.

The Fars news agency did not give details but said Kouchner had accused Iran of seeking to develop nuclear bombs, a charge Tehran denies. Kouchner last month sparked controversy by saying the world should prepare for a war with Iran.
