Four students die as boat capsize in AP river

Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 3 (UNI) Four school students were killed when a boat in which they were travelling capsized in Somasila river at Chukkayapalli village in Nandalur mandal of this district today.

Police said the accident occurred when a boat carrying 11 school students from Chukkayapalli to drop them at a school in Kothapi village capsized.

Four students, including three girls were killed while seven others were rescued by the local people.

Three bodies were recovered from the waters while search was on to retrieve one more, police added.
