Fidel Castro ''doing better'' : Cuba's Envoy

New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) Cuban leader Fidel Castro, reportedly having ill health, is ''doing better'' and keeps writing on important subjects, Cuba's Ambassador to India, Miguel Angel Ramirez Ramos, said today.

The Ambassador who called on Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee ahead of his (the Speaker's) visit to Cuba on October 28, also stressed the need to enhance relations between the two countries.

Mr Chatterjee told the Ambassador that he was looking forward to his visit to Cuba and that the country occupied a special position.
