Doctor's wife hit by RTV driver

New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) In yet another case of road rage, a doctor's wife was seriously injured by an RTV driver, following an argument over rash driving in Mayur Vihar area of East Delhi this morning.

However, the driver of the RTV, Vicky, has been arrested, said a senior police official.

''The incident took place at about 0800 hrs when the RTV, tried to overtake the car being driven by Dr Abid.'' His wife Roshan, who was sitting beside him, objected and asked the driver to mind his driving. This led to an argument after which the RTV driver took out an iron rod and hit her on the head, he said.

''She received injuries on her right eyebrow, and was rushed to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital.'' Later she was referred to the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital where her condition was said to be stable, the official added.
