Delhi's movement to Winter continues, minimum drops to 18.8 Deg C

New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) Delhi's slow movement towards Winter season continued today with the minimum plummeting to 18.8 Degree Celsius, two degrees below normal.

With the Southwest monsoon withdrawing from many parts of Delhi, cool mornings and Sunny days marked the weather in the city.

The cool Easterlies in the morning brought some chill in the air, with the minimum dropping to 18.8 Degree Celsius, two degrees below normal.

And, even though bright sunlight enveloped the sky during the day, with the maximum recorded three degrees above normal at 37.3 Degree C, the cool Easterlies kept the weather pleasant.

The last few days have seen Delhi recording below normal temperatures following the withdrawal of the South West Monsoon.

The Met office forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with the mercury likely to hover at today's level.
