New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) As clouds of mid term polls in Karnataka loom large the BJP leadership today kept its 'doors open' for talks with the Janata Dal (Secular) which is dilly dallying on the issue of transfer of power to its coalition partner in the state before mid-night tonight, the mutually agreed deadline.

BJP President Rajnath Singh said the BJP Parliamentary Board will take a view on the issue tomorrow, adding that there could be meeting with Janata Dal (Secular) President H D Deve Gowda when he would be in Delhi for attending his party's Political affairs Committee meeting on October 5. He said the BJP was still hopeful that the coalition partner would stick to the promises made to the people of the state.

He declined to make comments on the rationale behind J D (S) unwillingness to pass on the power to the BJP during the 'inauspicious pitru paksha'.

All the BJP ministers, including Deputy Chief Minister and Chief Ministerial nominee B S Yediyurappa have tendered their resignations to Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to step up pressure on the coalition partner. The Chief Minister has asked the BJP not to precipitate the matter until October 5.
