1 killed, 7 hurt in Aurangabad bus accident

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Oct 3 (UNI) One person died while seven sustained grave injuries when a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus turned upside down at a blind turn near Adul, about 30 km from here today.

The Aurangabad-Ambajogai MSRTC bus was on way when suddenly a speeding truck came from the opposite direction. The bus driver in the process of trying to avoid a collision lost control and the bus turned turtle.

The deceased, identified as Gautam Gopinath Magre (40), an MSRTC employee died on the spot while seven others sustained serious injuries, according to police.

The injured have been identified as Saleem Harun Pathan, B U Padul, Gafoor Khan Shahnoor Khan, Parmeshwar Hardas Kolte, R J Kohak and N G Jadhav. They have been admitted to the Pachod Rural Hospital.
