Serial blasts greet Non-Violence Day

Aizawl, Oct 2 (UNI) Serial blasts occurred at three places in Aizawl last night.

However, there was no major damage, police said.

The first blast occurred near the ground floor of one Dinesh Kumar's building that housed an automobile workshop at Bawngkawn locality at 2325 hrs partially damaging the doors and a parked car.

The second blast occurred near a cement and iron rod shop at 2328 hours at Tuikual locality. The blast partially damaging the shop shutters and a parked truck.

The third blast took place near a grocery shop co-owned by Ahmed Uddin and Islam at 2330 hours at Dawrpui locality.

No arrest has been made in this connection.
