No VIP honours during Navaratri Brahmotsavam

Tirumala, Oct 2 (UNI) In view of anticipated heavy rush during the upcoming Navaratri Brahmotsavam, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board Chairman B Karunakara Reddy said it would be impossible to extend customary honours to VIPs during the festival.

While reviewing arrangements for the festival beginning on October 12, with TTD officials and senior police officers here last evening, Mr Reddy said priority would be given to common pilgrims, converging there from across the world.

All 'arjitha sevas' and break darshan would remain cancelled during the nine-day festival.
