New law for protecting purchasers' interests: Jaipal

Vijayawada, Oct 2 (UNI) The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre will soon bring in a new law to protect the interests of purchasers of multi-storeyed buildings in New Delhi, Union Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy today said.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the law would cover aspects like facilities provided by the builders to the purchasers including sanitation, water and other amenities.

Mr Reddy said if proved successful, the law would also be extended to other states in the country.
