MP BJP stages protest demonstrations over 'Ram Setu' issue

Bhopal, Oct 2 (UNI) The ruling BJP in Madhya Pradesh today staged protest demonstrations in the state capital besides other district headquarters against proposed destruction of the 'Ram Setu' and objectionable comments against Lord Rama.

Alleging that feelings of majority community had been hurt, various leaders severely criticised DMK leaders and said electorate would punish such political leaders during next Lok Sabha elections.

Besides the state capital, demonstrations were staged in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Indore, Sagar, Ujjain and other district headquarters.
