Minor, among 4 killed, ten structures gutted in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 2 (UNI) Four people, including a minor, were killed and ten houses and other structures were gutted in the Kashmir valley overnight, police said.

Police said a vehicle hit and wounded one Ghulam Qadir, a resident of Androth, Rajouri, at Bemina bypass. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.

In another incident, a tractor hit and critically wounded an eight-year-old boy, Ishaq Ahmad Wani, at Mirgund in Baramulla district. He was immediately shifted to hospital, where he died.

A motorcyclist hit and killed a 55-year-old woman, Baiga at Hatlango in Baramulla. The motorcyclist later escaped, police said, adding that a massive hunt had been launched to arrest him.

Another motorcyclist hit and seriously wounded one Mohammad Subhan at Noorbagh, Sopore. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Four houses, five shops and a kothar were gutted in three different fire incidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, police added.
