Kamaraj remembered

Puducherry, Oct 2 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Kamaraj on his 32nd death anniversary here today.

Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy, his cabinet colleagues, legislators and senior officials of the territorial administration garlanded the statue of the Congress stalwart.

Congress volunteers, led by PCC President P Shanmugham, also garlanded the statue.

Earlier, tributes were paid to a decorated portrait of the leader at the PCC office. A procession 'Ahimsa Yatra' was taken out from the party office to the Kamaraj Statue and later to the Gandhi Statue.
