Journalists demand better conditions for scribes

Imphal, Oct 2 (UNI) The All Manipur Working Journalists Union (AMWJU) today organised a sit in protest at Keishampat here in support of its demand.

The protest was organised as part of all-India programme of the Indian Federation of Working Journalists,(IFWJ), demanding full implementation of wage board recommendations for the journalists.

The sit-in protest began at 1000 hours and continued till 1600 hours.
