BJP worker climbs tower to protest 'Ram Setu' issue
Bhopal, Oct 2 (UNI) A BJP worker today climbed a 80 feet-high tower with the motive of committing suicide to protest proposed destruction of 'Ram Setu' causing inconvenience to people for about one-and-half hours, police said.
As Vinod Kumar climbed the tower in Talaiya area in the state capital and threatened to jump, a crowd gathered on the spot.
Police and municipal corporation employees managed to bring him down after an effort of around one-and-half hours. Vinod was also carrying a kerosene-filled can with him.
