Army chief hands over charge to his successor

New Delhi, Sept 30, 2007: India's outgoing Army chief today expressed satisfaction over strides taken by the land-force during his tenure.

At a special ceremony General Joginder Jaswant Singh was given a traditional guard of honour in capital New Delhi. Singh told reporters the army was well capable of meeting internal and external challenges.
