Vidarbha Express to run from Gondia from October 20

Nagpur, Oct 1 (UNI) The prestigious 2105/2106 Mumbai-Nagpur-Mumbai Vidarbha Express will be extended to Gondia from October 20.

The inaugural journey of the extended run of the train would be flagged off from Gondia on October 20, a South East Central Railway (SECR) spokesman told UNI.

The train's schedule beyond Nagpur has not been decided yet, but the train is likely to leave Gondia around 1500 hrs, and on the return leg reach around 1130 hrs every day, he said.

Between Gondia and Nagpur, the train is likely to have halts at Tumsar and Bhandara, the spokesman said.

The reservations for the extended run has not opened yet, he said.

The Railway Board had sent a message to the SECR divisional headquarters here that the train would begin operating from Gondia effective October 20, the spokesman added.

Union Minister for Railways Laloo Prasad Yadav had announced the extension of the train to Gondia in the railway budget that he presented to Parliament in February last.
