Two robbery cases registered in Surat

Surat, Oct 1 (UNI) Police here today registered two cases of robbery worth Rs 2.78 lakh against unknown persons.

In an incident, a gang of unknown robbers broke into one Rambahadur Shyamlal Mishra's house last night and escaped with ornaments and cash totalling worth Rs 1.17 lakh, police said today.

In another incident occurred on September 19, the unidentified persons looted Rs 1.61 lakh cash from one Tejas Bardoliya, who registered a complaint today, they added.
