Two killed and as many injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 1 (UNI) Two persons, including a seven-year-old boy were killed and a similar numbers of people were injured in the Kashmir valley today, official sources said.

They said a speeding vehicle hit and critically wounded Faizan Javid at Gungdunoo village under Kulgam police station in south Kashmir. However, the boy died before he could be taken to the hospital, sources added.

Two persons, including a driver were injured when a three wheeler in which they were travelling overturned at Anantnag.

They were hospitalised.

A body was fished out from the Marchalang power project kanal at Leh this morning. The body was taken away by the police for identification.
