Traffic diversions on Gandhi Jayanti

New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) Traffic on the Ring road and a few other roads will remain disrupted in the morning hours tomorrow due to a yatra organised on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

On the occasion of October 2, also known as International Non Violence Day, a Yatra has been organised which will start at 0900 hours from Akbar Road and passing through Man Singh Road, Hamayun Road,Mathura Road, Bhairon Road and ending at Rajghat.

Accordingly, the Delhi police have advised motorists to avoid Shahjahan road, Hamayun Road, Subramanium Bharti Road, Mathura Road, Bhairon Road, Ring Road between 0900 hours to 1100 hours.

They have been advised to take NH-24, Akshardham Road, Marginal Band Road, ISBT, Akbar Road, Tuglak Road and Janpath.
